Woman versus Machine
SO,ive never claimed to be computer savvy, but somehow i got the impression that maybe i could figure out some basic gaphic design stuff for the sake of my business. i figured i'd save a ton of money by making my own webpage (the one for THE LINE) and business cards AND i'd be able to do my own graphics for some of my pieces, ya know? well, that just about blew up in my face.
i found THEE perfect fonts i wanted to use but this technological retard could not figure out how to install/create/unzip the stupid files!!! Too done. I will gladly save my pennies and buy Photoshop and pay a damn graphic designer to take this burden off my back...i just cant.
one more effing thing to put on my 'to-do' list.

today i:
learned half of Amazing Grace on my guitar
made some cake(money) in the trap (the salon)
got my hurr put in
came up with a few more ideas for THE LINE
and...
i was reading the cover story of the new NYLON with M.I.A today while i was at work. i love that woman. she does what not too many people are capable of doing; she makes something that isnt typically 'cool', cool. she's about raising awareness to the masses and shes actually doing it in a matter that makes people interested. u may not give a shit about Sri Lanka but if ur banging "Paper Planes", ur kind of subscribing to it anyways. at some point you say, damn this sound is sick but what the hell is she saying?!? and once u have decifered what she's saying, the conversation then becomes, ok, so what the hell is she talking about??!? by that time, her job is pretty much done. the chicks a genius. i pull alot of inspiration from her, especially in the sense of how she views life and the quality of it.

"... Been gone for a minute, now im back with the jumpoff"
im trying my best to keep this blog alive. there has been a whole lot [of nothing] goin on lately and i just ended up slacking on my blogger duties. Good news though, THE LINE is definitely in the works. im digging into this photography thing and im actually becoming quite obsessed with it a bit. ive been doing more makeup gigs lately and im learning sooo much at the salon im at right now.
the big move to nyc is looking to manifest sometime in late AUGUST!!!!!!!! got waitlisted to FIT, but its cool cuz i had planned on breaking in anyways.
Two and a half months....
